Strategic plan and implementation

Compilation of the program:

The development of the program is done at three strategic, tactical and operational levels. Undoubtedly, in order to evaluate the actions taken, we need to define metrics that will be defined after the projects and operations, goals and vision of the company are defined.

Strategic plan:

Strategic planning means a designed document whose main purpose is to determine and describe long-term strategies and business goals. This program includes analyzing the internal and external environment, defining goals, determining desired strategies, operational measures and supports (financial, human resources, sales).

The strategic plan helps the organization in the framework of its future operations. This program plays a magical role in advancing the market and gaining competence in the competitive market. In the strategic planning, in the first stage, according to the identified values and the opinion of the business owners, we design the vision, and based on the designed vision, we design the path to reach the necessary goals and missions, as well as goals and strategies. It is necessary.

The strategic plan specifies the policies and dos and don’ts for the business and its owners. Whether the business operates geographically, whether it has customers, and whether it pursues products or services or ideas are among the things that are addressed in the strategic plan.

Tactical plan:

Tactical plan means a more detailed operational document that is developed to achieve the goals and strategies specified in the strategic plan. This plan includes the definition of short-term actions, necessary resources, timing and operational activities.

Unlike the strategic plan, which is about achieving business goals in the long term, the tactical plan works in the medium and short term.

The program of middle managers and the description of the duties of each unit of the organization includes a number of the goals of this department together becoming the goals of the strategic plan.

In the tactical plan, we determine what goal each unit should pursue in order to reach the main goal. For example, the marketing unit improves the company’s position from 10th to 8th, and the production unit produces the quality level of the product according to European standards, and the financial unit also provides the necessary resources for the purchase of raw materials. All this sets a bigger goal like getting 20% of the market share, which is a strategic goal.

Operational program and action plan:

An action plan is a detailed plan of specific tasks, activities, and actions to be taken to achieve a specific goal or objective within a specified period of time. It includes the who, what, when and how of each part of the action.

When creating an action plan, it is important to:

1- Define your goal: Be clear about the goal you want to achieve.

Break it down: Break your goal down into smaller tasks or actions.

3- Specific Responsibilities: Determine who will be responsible for each task.

4- Determining the duration: Specify the time for each of the tasks to ensure that they are finished on time.

5- Resource distribution: identifying the necessary resources (financial, human, etc.) needed for each task.

6- Track progress: regularly track and measure progress towards your goal.

7- Adjust as needed: Be flexible and adjust the program as needed based on feedback or changes in conditions.

Creating an action plan helps ensure that all participants understand their roles and responsibilities and can work together effectively to achieve the desired outcome.

The operational plan is the result of strategic and tactical programs. In the operational plan, the details of the projects are determined with the direct responsibility of each task.

Metrics:

Metrics help us evaluate the progress or lack of progress of projects and evaluate the degree of achievement of goals.

Strategy map:

A strategic map is a tool used to display and describe the strategies of an organization. This map shows in the form of a graphic and transparent chart how the organization intends to understand its goals and achieve them.

The strategy map helps us to follow the course of action to follow the vision correctly.

In order to reach the necessary results and goals, it is necessary to define metrics such as market share, growth rate, satisfaction level, etc. and use them during the implementation of the program in order to avoid possible deviations.

Program execution:

Program implementation is the stage in which the activities and actions specified in the operational plan are carried out. For the successful implementation of the program, you can use the following methods and solutions:

Allocation of resources: provision of resources (financial budget, labor and other resources) necessary for the implementation of the program.
Team formation: formation of operational teams
Compilation of instructions
and other operational measures
In Iran, in the past decade, programs were viewed as non-operational writings, but in developed countries, programs are an inseparable part of every business. In order for any business to be successful, it is necessary to have a complete and comprehensive plan of its macro and micro goals, for this purpose, it is necessary for businesses to prepare a plan that is practical and operational.

Aligning the company’s forces with the plans is vital for the implementation of the plan, the top managers are the ones who must believe in the company’s plans, and the shareholders must support and approve the company’s vision and invest in the way to achieve it. .

After the program is written, a person responsible for each part of the program should be identified and given authority to carry out the program. In other words, each program must be delivered and organized to the various departments that are defined, for the implementation of the program, it is necessary to provide the necessary resources and facilities so that the program can proceed according to the schedule.

In addition to implementation and provision of resources, the program needs monitoring and control to prevent its deviation.

Monitoring and control:

The monitoring and control of each program is carried out according to the prepared plan and the specified schedule, for this purpose and to prevent conflict of interests in the implementation and monitoring and control, corporate governance must be observed.
